An AI agent is AI that completes tasks on its own instead of just answering questions. It works with your tools such as e-mail, calendar or documents, plans the steps needed and comes back with the result. For critical tasks it suggests, and you approve.

A chatbot responds when you ask it something. An AI agent acts on its own: it reads e-mails, identifies tasks and gets them done, without you having to spell out every step.
What data does an AI agent need?+
